The University of Oklahoma Michael F. Price College of Business Launches Price Executive Academy to Drive Leadership Development

JUNE 17, 2024 – The University of Oklahoma Michael F. Price College of Business is proud to announce the launch of the Price Executive Academy, offering solutions for organizations and individuals to navigate today’s complex business landscape successfully.

Price Executive Academy develops the skills, insights and strategic perspectives of emerging leaders to executive-level professionals, with facilitators emphasizing practical application and real-world case studies to ensure that participants can immediately apply their learning to drive tangible results in their organizations.

 “The rapidly changing nature of work demands professionals to constantly reskill and upskill. This shift makes leadership development both challenging and crucial for organizations,” said Corey Phelps, dean of the Price College of Business at OU. “We created the Price Executive Academy to be the home of lifelong learning for working professionals and customized leadership development programs for organizations in Oklahoma and beyond.”

Individual participants can self-register for mini-MBA programs online. Launching early 2025, the inaugural program features learning experiences focused on leading change and driving innovation.

When asked about the programs, Executive Director of Price Executive Academy, Nicholas Tobey, said, “Today’s leaders are facing problems in which there are no clear solutions yet and we are designing learning experiences with complexity in mind.”

Price Executive Academy offers total customization for corporate clients to overcome their unique challenges, offering solutions in key areas such as leading change, developing innovative mindsets, fostering resilience and building emotional intelligence in addition to the traditional MBA topics.
