Kaitlin’s expertise lies at the intersection of higher education and workforce learning. Over the course of her career, she has partnered with an ecosystem of stakeholders —ranging from university leaders to corporate learning executives to state government officials — as a strategist and trusted advisor. In addition to specific engagements, she is adept at seeing how these diverse constituents can align to deliver expotential learner value. She has been featured in several publications, including Inside Higher Ed and Education Technology Insights, as well as a speaker and member of the host committee at StartEd’s EdTech Week in New York City.
Before joining Huron, Kaitlin served as the head of workforce learning innovatoin for Kaplan. In that role she focused on scaling Kaplan’s impact at the strategic nexus of post-secondary education and talent development, particularly in areas such as work-based learning, career readiness, and integrated credential degrees, known as Credegrees. Prior to joining Kaplan, Kaitlin played an instrumental role in shaping executive development programs at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School. She worked closely with C-Suite executives and Fortune 500 corporations, offering strategic guidance on learning and development priorities. Crucially, she led the charge in curating flagship portfolios of residential executive programs and spearheaded the launch of innovative online initiatives, ensuring the delivery of top-notch learning experiences.
Dumont completed her undergraduate studies at Tufts University and holds an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, as well as an Instructional Designer Certificate from the Online Learning Consortium.
