Scott Briggs

Vice President of Human Resources, OG&E

Scott Briggs is Vice President of Human Resources for OGE Energy Corp., which is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In that role, he oversees Workforce Planning & Development, Recruitment and Onboarding, Total Rewards, Ethics, Equity & Inclusion, HR Operations, and Learning and Development. Prior to OG&E, Scott worked for The Oklahoman Media Company for 15 years where he served in several roles including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Administration and Human Resources prior to the COO role. Scott is active in various community and industry organizations and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum, the Board of Directors of the City Rescue Mission, the Advisory Council of the Institute for Emerging Leaders, the Southwest Power Pool’s Human Resources Committee, the EEI Chief Human Resources Officer Executive Advisory Committee, and the Oklahoma Workforce Commission.  Scott graduated from the University of Oklahoma with Business and Law degrees.
