Jimmy Duncan joined OU Health in January 2023, coming from UC Health in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he served as Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer. Duncan has more than 35 years in human resources leadership and has worked extensively in healthcare since 2008 through executive roles at Banner Health, Tenet Healthcare Corporation, Wellstar Health System, and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

 Mr. Duncan is dually certified as a senior human resources professional, received a master’s degree in organizational management at Southern Wesleyan University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina. He was recognized in 2024 by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the top Black healthcare leaders to know.
